I think this sort of thing was really important for me in first several years as a serious, professional level productive gardener. I used to use GrowVeg.
Now, I have a well developed rotation and tend to use a somewhat more instinctive approach to fill it out. I have a well developed internal database of what I’m planting and where each year, and an idea of what the more self organized extensive gardens will contribute, too.
I do have a Lillie House master plant list, but I don’t consult it too often these days. I expect each year we’ll have about 230-260 species or so in the garden.
