Temperate climate, slightly over two acres, not quite one hectare, passive solar house(s), zoned garden/growing areas, maintenance of public spaces beyond their property lines, water management, fire prevention/management.  There are hours worth of interviews with David, but this is a lovely, concise introduction to their home.

This is an example of a Permaculture life, not just a “demonstration site” 😉
