ParticipantJust in the process of writing up all my crops. This might appear rather up tight, but I have ADHD, and I am either super organised, or useless heap of goo. I have a current total of 52 types of plant now!
How do you organise managing your crops?
This will finally give me prompts of when to sow, how, when to plant out, when to harvest. Because I am relatively new to this, I need to study it and also understand the habitat of each plant and their companions. This is quite an undertaking for me, but it’s food we eat and enjoy. I will also include ways to preserve the harvests too.

KeymasterI think this sort of thing was really important for me in first several years as a serious, professional level productive gardener. I used to use GrowVeg.
Now, I have a well developed rotation and tend to use a somewhat more instinctive approach to fill it out. I have a well developed internal database of what I’m planting and where each year, and an idea of what the more self organized extensive gardens will contribute, too.
I do have a Lillie House master plant list, but I don’t consult it too often these days. I expect each year we’ll have about 230-260 species or so in the garden.
Just trying to help out around the village
